What happens if the tenant no longer wishes to move into the rented apartment?

Both you and the tenant can cancel the booking process at any time before the booking has been completed. 

Once a binding booking has been completed, an early termination of the booking is generally not possible. In exceptional cases extraordinary termination is possible, for example, if the tenant is denied access to the apartment or is not granted access in time, or if there is a considerable health hazard in the apartment. 

You have the option of coming to an individual agreement with your tenant on an early termination of the tenancy. We will be happy to help you draw up a termination agreement and seamlessly find a new tenant for your apartment. We will refund the overpaid service fee in the event of an early move-out if we have received confirmation that the tenancy has been terminated.
